Update Information ======================= The following changes were made at version R06.03.00 ---------------------------------------------------- 1. CENELEC default Rx/Tx low battery thresholds changed from 6.00v to 5.90v. 2. The ability to change the low battery thresholds on CENELEC radios has been restored. The following changes were made at version R06.02.00 ---------------------------------------------------- 1. The ability to load archive files created using version R05.00.00 of the 900 series RSS. 2. Modification to the standard handset support field length required for translation into German. The following changes were made at version R06.00.00 ---------------------------------------------------- 1.CENELEC Radio Compatibility The GM900 RSS is given compatibility with GM900 radios which conform to CENELEC (Intrinsically Safe) approval. 2. Mid-Band The GM900 RSS is given compatibility with those GM900 radios which transmit and receive in the mid-band frequency band (66-88 Mhz) 3. Mandown The mandown feature programming will operate correctly. Previously the radio mandown feature would be activated at the default, not the programmed value of mandown timer. 4. Shortcut Menu / Information Screen (Found on the RSS MAIN SCREEN) A shortcut menu is available via the main screen that allows quicker programming of a group of radios that have the same basic configuration, but that differ in, say, select 5 sequences, Tx/Rx frequencies. A radio information screen has been added to the main menu to give the user general information about the radio currently being configured. (This may be printed by use of the standard PC 'print screen' button) 5. Standard Handset Support / Key Debounce Time (Found via F4:F2:F9 from the RSS MAIN SCREEN) The standard handset support and key debounce features are now configurable via the RSS. The standard handset support is used with the particular accessory of the GM900. Key Debounce Time is useful in data transmissions with older versions of GM900 series radios. 6. Default Codeplugs Default codeplugs of selected radio models supported by this RSS have been put onto the installation disk, and will be automatically copied onto the hard drive in the \RSS\GM900 directory upon installation of the RSS. These codeplugs contain example configurations of the select 5 and PL signalling systems C.
