Here is a picture of my completed Paraset TT.

As you can see a real experimental setup.

I made it for the 40 meter band.

Made only a change to the pi network and the loading coil.

The receiver covers from 7.00 to 7.150 Mhz.

Just got my crystals the other day, so I could complete the project.

The receiver works real well. Regeneration is very smooth. Only one adjustment for the whole band. Receiving many stations at night. During the day the band is DEAD!

The output to a 50 Ohm dummy load is just under 4 watts.

He also went onto say :-

Your help for making the PA Valve was very helpful. May be the most difficult part of the project!

I played around with the bin choke for some time, could not get much output in the beginning, but when I changed to a much bigger size toroid, as suggested by Geoff G3YVF, the transmitter got the right output.

Now, I will try out the unit and see if I can make contacts!

Charles, thanks again for all your help. I am keeping an eye on your site. Seen quite a few changes. Keep up the good work.
