G3YVF Geoff's Paraset, bandspread
for use on 160 meters only. All Geoff's Parasets have been finished in silver
hammer paint. When the correct set of knobs arrive they will be fitted as
will the clips for the valves in the lid. F
or those who look carefully one can see
the plug in key built around an FT243 xtal holder! This key can be made to
fit underneath the chassis, leaving the knob protruding, like an original,
or it can be made to plug in to the standard 1/4" jack socket as can be seen
here.
