FOR SOLAR AND RENEWABLE ENERGY APPLICATIONS
Trojan Battery Company warrants only to the original purchaser that any battery used in solar or renewable energy applications which becomes unserviceable (not merely discharged) due to defect in material and/or workmanship within the free replacement period stated below will be replaced without charge. This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the battery and is non-transferable.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Trojan Battery Company will not be responsible for any expenses for transportation, installation, recharging, electrical system tests, loss of time, loss of use of equipment, or other expenses which would be considered as incidental or consequential damages.

THE PROVISIONS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO FAILURE DUE TO:
Abuse or neglect such as improper fluid levels (over or under-watered), damage from shipping, loose wiring, rusted or corroded hardware, improper maintenance, improper installation, neglect, breakage, cracked covers and cases, bulged cases from heat, freezing, fire, explosion, wreckage, exposure to excessive heat or cold temperatures, the addition of any chemical or solution other than approved water, insufficient charging (undercharging or overcharging), use of the battery in an uncharged condition, discharged batteries, improperly sized batteries or oversized battery sets, batteries damaged from electrical equipment or if the manufacturing codes have been destroyed or tampered with. The battery must be used in the application for which it was designed.

The battery owner will read warning labels on the battery and exercise due care in working on or around it. When adding water to the battery, the owner may use any method, tool, or system, as long as they maintain the fluid at the recommended level and do not over or under-water the battery. The battery is intended to be used by persons with training or experience with batteries.

HOW TO RECEIVE WARRANTY SERVICE:
To resolve problems covered by this warranty for solar and renewable energy applications, contact your local distributor you purchased the batteries from to confirm the defect. You will need to provide proof of purchase along with the date code for the batteries. The Solar and Renewable Energy Limited Warranty starts from the date sold and applies only to solar/ renewable energy applications. During the free replacement period, the battery will be repaired or replaced with a similar or one of equal value. Pro-ration is based on manufacturer's suggested retail price using the formula below:

Trojan Battery Company reserves the right to add or delete batteries from those listed above as they become available or are obsoleted.

LIMITATION ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES:
Trojan Battery Company makes no express warranties with respect to its batteries other than the limited warranties stated above. All implied warranties are limited to the duration of the express warranties set forth above.

DISCLAIMER OF CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES:
Trojan Battery Company shall not have any liability for any incidental or consequential damages.

APPLICATION OF STATE LAW:
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
