Trojan Battery Company Best Overall Winner of 2007 LLEAP Awards
SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA. - November 13, 2007 - Trojan Battery Company is proud to announce that its Plus Series™ deep cycle batteries was awarded the Best Overall winner of Lift and Access magazine's 2007 LLEAP Awards.
According to Lift and Access, this year marked "one of the most innovative ever in terms of product and service introductions." Held annually, the Leadership in Lifting Equipment and Aerial Platforms (LLEAP) Awards aims to recognize products, accessories or design concepts that are considered innovative and/or have advanced the state of the lift and access industry. Sorted into six categories encompassing each area of lift and access equipment and their related components, each product was then judged by a select panel of lift and access experts from national and independent
organizations as well as the magazine staff.
Trojan's Plus Series deep cycle batteries captured the Best Overall award with its innovative features designed to address the needs of aerial work platform users and owners. In order to deliver batteries that are durable, reliable and easy to maintain, Trojan was first-to-market with three unique benefits: 1) Trojan's patent-pending SureVent™ flip-top vent caps for easier and faster watering and prevention of misplaced vent caps; 2) Trojan's built-in maximum electrolyte level indicator for precise watering that ultimately results in better performance and longer life and 3) Trojan's embedded terminals for exceptional durability.
"Trojan has been a supplier of the highest quality batteries for the aerial industry so far," commented Lance Sullivan, the Fleet Product and Service Manager for Sunstate Equipment Company and one of this year's LLEAP judges. "This new series of batteries sets them even more apart from their competitors."
"As the world's deep cycle technology and market leader, this award recognizes Trojan's commitment to constantly improving our customer's product experience," said Dave Godber, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Trojan Battery. "We will continue to listen to our customers and introduce value-added innovative features in our products."
The Plus Series batteries are available through Trojan's Master Distributor Network in the following sizes: T-105 Plus, T-125 Plus, T-145 Plus, T-1275 Plus and J150 Plus.
